Dr. Barneman is a graduate of Rutgers University, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), where he studied clinical, industrial-organizational and school psychology. He is a licensed clinical psychologist who utilizes cognitive-behavioral (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivation Enhancement Therapy (MET) approaches to his therapeutic interventions. Dr. Barneman’s clinical interests include behavioral treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, developmental disabilities, attention-deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and chronic illness. In addition to his clinical interventions, Dr. Barneman conducts psycho-educational, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, and consultative services. He continues to give back to the field of psychology by providing clinical supervision to masters and doctoral level therapists, interns, mental health clinicians and psychology permit holders. Dr. Barneman is a regional and national speaker; presenting on a wide range of topics and issues that confront individuals, human service organizations, athletes and coaches in their quests for peak performance.
Convenient office hours are Monday through Thursday and he works in a multidisciplinary team manner with Dr. Srisai Gowda, MD, who can provide medication evaluation and TMS treatment as needed.
